Tyres

Tyre choice has become one of the most important factors when considering your TD-S tank.TD-S tankers have a wide range of options for field and road use. Fitted as standard on 560/60-22.5 BKT FL630 tyres, HiSpec can offer multiple options in either 22.5 or 26.5 sizes. The larger 26.5 sizes are becoming more popular as they offer lower rolling resistance, reduced wear and improved control. The speed index classes of the tyres stand for higher speeds when travelling on the road leading to significant time savings. In addition, the low rolling resistance contributes to less fuel consumption.

BKT FL630 tyre pattern offers a 50/50 (road/field) thread. On the other hand, BKT Ridemax FL693 M is the ideal radial tyre for those who frequently travel on the road, 75/25 (road/field).

New Feature: Chassis

The chassis supports the barrel along key locations. Firstly, both sides of the barrel overlap in the centre and, secondly, along the outsides to transfer the weight safely towards the axle. The chassis also accommodates additional reinforcements to facilitate low-emission applicators on the rear.

The folded chassis acts as a solid foundation to support the barrel. The axle plate is married up to the underside of the chassis and placed towards the rear to aid balance and ensure adequate weight is transferred towards the tractor.

New feature: Parboilic axle

The parabolic axle is welded along the entire chassis for maximum support. The parabolic is particularly suited to intensive use as stresses and strains are transmitted over a greater distance than a conventional bogie. The suspension is under-slung to reduce height and increase stability as the operator travels from one job to another.
