TD-R tandem tankers are designed for high-use premium farmers and contractors. A sprung drawbar, four large BKT 750/60 R30.5 Ridemax tyres and a high speed commercial sprung axle complete with rear steering are all fitted as standard ensuring TD-R tankers can travel anywhere, and get there fast. Capacities from 3000 to 4000 gallons (13,638 to 18,184 litres) are easily carried to ensure TD-R tankers float across the field and from one job to the next.

TD-R Range      Tandem Axle – Recessed

TD-R tankers are particularly adept where farmers and contractors want to overcome all obstacles. TD-R tankers have the wheels recessed into the tanker to keep the width of the tankers as narrow as possible whilst also providing maximum tyre to ground coverage. The barrel of the TD-R models is made longer than the TD-S to allow for the wheel arches and this barrel is fully supported to ensure a completely smooth ride. For manoeuvrability with these larger tankers, TD-R models are fitted with a sprung bogie complete with rear steer. The bogie axle responds extremely well to rapid changes in ground contours, and the rear steering aids turning and reduces tyre wear.

Jurop Pump

A Jurop 11000 litre vacuum pump is fitted as standard across the TD-R range. Jurop is a high quality pump designed and manufactured in a state of the art factory in Italy. Jurop pumps are recognised as the fastest and most powerful vacuum pumps available today. Each pump is assembled according to Jurop’s methodical standards and is carefully tested and checked. PTO driven as standard, Jurop pumps provide the most efficient method of filling or emptying your slurry tank.

Tyres

TD-R tankers are fitted as standard on 750/60 R30.5 BKT FL693M Ridemax tyres to suit intensive road usage (75% road, 25% field). Trelleborg twin radial tyres have become a popular upgrade due to their excellent field/road performance. All tyre options offer high speed indexes which stands for higher speeds when travelling on the road leading to significant time savings. The low rolling resistance contributes to less fuel consumption. The large tyres also have the added benefit of travelling easily over land with minimal compaction.
