New to the Hi-Spec range of Vertical Auger Diet Feeders is the addition of a Variable Height Discharge (VHD) Cross Conveyor. Designed with the farmer who has a number of buildings with varying trough heights, this new innovation combines the benefits of a front cross conveyor feed out with the discharge heights flexibility of an elevator.
This system allows the feeder to feed out on either side. A unique feature is that the conveyor rises as it extends out, using just one hydraulic service in the process. Control of the elevator and other hydraulic functions is from a robust handset in the cab.
Discharge heights:
V10, V12, T20, T24 models - up to 1525mm (5')
T14, T16 models - up to 1400mm (4'7")
The VHD conveyor uses a modular belt system made from polyethylene, which means a section of damaged belt can be removed and replaced without having to incur the cost of replacing an entire belt.
